Ezequiel Ruiz Báez
CEO & Founder, Fire Safety Tactics LLC
With over 20 years of experience across the security and fire safety industries, Ezequiel Ruiz Báez has managed life safety operations for some of New York City's most demanding environments — including Goldman Sachs, Google, and The Mark Hotel. His career spans retail, hospitality, corporate high-rises, and active construction sites, giving him firsthand knowledge of every environment Fire Safety Tactics serves.
Throughout his career, Ezequiel has specialized in fire prevention, emergency preparedness, occupant safety training, incident investigation, and FDNY compliance. He has extensive experience conducting fire drills, training fire wardens and brigade teams, maintaining life safety systems, and ensuring buildings remain fully compliant with New York City Fire Code regulations.
He founded Fire Safety Tactics LLC after seeing how consistently the traditional staffing model failed building managers — leaving critical posts uncovered, sending unqualified personnel, and charging premium fees with no accountability. ShiftLinked was built to fix that: a platform where vetted, experienced professionals can be matched to urgent needs in real time, with full transparency and fair pay on both sides.
Kevin Lopez
COO & Co-Founder, Fire Safety Tactics LLC
Kevin Lopez brings a rare combination of luxury hospitality management and fire life safety expertise to Fire Safety Tactics — making him one of the few professionals in NYC who understands both the operational demands of Class A properties and the compliance requirements that keep them safe.
With nearly a decade of experience across luxury residential, corporate, hospitality, and Class A commercial properties throughout New York City, Kevin currently serves as Hospitality Manager and Lead Fire Life Safety Director overseeing front desk operations, tenant relations, vendor coordination, event management, and building safety simultaneously. His career also includes leadership roles at Allstar Security Consultants, Mulligan Security, and Goldman Sachs — where he managed scheduling, payroll, security operations, staff supervision, and VIP coordination for high-profile clients and executives.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Monroe College and is certified as an F-89 Fire Life Safety Director and F-01 Fire Guard, with additional certifications in CPR and Culinary Arts. His fluency in property management systems, access control technology, and scheduling platforms makes him uniquely equipped to bridge the gap between building operations and safety staffing.
